The TELL TALE HEART (2016)

‘Creepy, powerful and downright brilliant’ – What’s On

in a one bedroom flat at the top of a tower block overlooking the city a man scrolls endlessly on his phone, until an investigator arrives and the world falls down around him. Audiences are plunged into darkness, figures move through black, shapes shift, and voices appear and disappear in the space; a queer dystopian retelling on Edgar Allan Poe’s original short story, underscored by a live loop-pedal vocal score.

Created by Tin Robot Theatre, The Tell Tale Heart was developed with support from the Old Joint Stock Theatre and first premiered in October 2016.
