Kath is 92. Kath is Leo. Kath is a character. Kath only wears purple. Kath is a homophobe. Kath lives in a home. Kath has dementia. Kath is my Nanna. Kath does not know I am queer.
Kath is a solo-theatre performance exploring sexuality, homophobia, family, ageing, dementia, and mental health – intersected by shame.
Inspired by a childhood of performing living-room recitals Kath takes the form of a cabaret show mixing storytelling, song, and recorded interview to bridge the gaps between personas, celebrating and confronting two lives lived in secrecy and forever forgotten.
